Institute for Portfolio Alternatives Names 2026 Board of Directors

The Institute for Portfolio Alternatives announced its board of directors for 2026. In addition, it also elected Brendan Cuddihy, chief operating officer of CAIS, as chair-elect for 2026. Jason Goode, Partner at Alston & Bird LLP, will lead the board as chair in 2026.

“As alternatives grow and evolve globally, the IPA remains focused on advancing the policies and engagement that shape our industry,” said Anya Coverman, president and chief executive officer. “This distinguished group brings diverse expertise and vision that will strengthen our Board and support continued innovation across private markets.”

Earlier this week, IPA honored 11 leaders in the alternative investments industry at its IPAVision 2025 conference in Boston, celebrating their contributions to the sector’s growth, policy, and advocacy.

The Institute for Portfolio Alternatives is an advocacy and education group for the non-traded alternative investment industry. The organization seeks to raise awareness of investment products with low correlation to the equity markets, which include non-traded real estate investment trusts, business development companies, interval funds and direct participation programs.
