TradeBacked, a private credit fund that provides inventory-backed liquidity to cash flow-positive businesses, has appointed Mark Wander to its wholesaling team. He will be responsible for promoting the company’s menu of bond and fund offerings while procuring new and growing existing broker-dealer and registered investment adviser relationships.

Wander brings over 35 years of industry experience, including time as a financial adviser, a sole proprietor options/equities trader on the NY Futures and American Stock Exchange, and with more than 20 years within alternative investments.

His expertise includes an in-depth understanding of the securities industry. According to the company, Wander has a strong track record of raising capital in alternative investments and has managed distribution teams at notable companies such as W.P. Carey from 2002 to 2007 and Terra Capital Markets from 2010 to 2017.

Most recently, Wander was the regional director, Eastern division at PREP Securities from 2024 to 2025, representing a single-tenant non-traded essential real estate investment trust. Immediately prior, he was managing director at S2K Financial from 2023 to 2024. Wander has also completed stints at BDP Holdings, Shopoff Securities, and Select Capital.

The products Mark has represented include portfolios consisting of mezzanine loans, senior secured loans, notes, triple net leases, commercial and growth value-add properties, single asset offerings, 1031 exchange, and opportunity zones.

Wander studied at the State University of New York, Brockport and has FINRA Series 3, 7, 24, and 63 licenses.

Earlier this year, TradeBacked announced that Brett Frum had joined as director of sales. Over the course of his career, Frum has raised more than $2.5 billion in assets, with deep expertise across key distribution channels, including wirehouses, independent broker-dealers, Taft-Hartley plans, and RIAs.
