VestGen Continues Expansion With Appointment of National Head of Advisers

Wealth management firm VestGen Wealth Partners LLC has appointed Rob Bondiman to its newly created national head of advisers and Matt LaLonde as the firm’s first director of insurance leading the firm’s insurance division, VestGen Insurance Partners, or VGIP.
“Our focus remains on identifying services and solutions that revolutionize the way our advisers can serve our clients and drive growth across the generations,” said Josh Gerry, founder and chief executive officer of VestGen. “And as we’ve grown, we have been able to attract incredible talent to help us build and deliver these solutions to our advisers. I’m thrilled that Rob and Matt have joined our team and look forward to their contributions to our firm.”
As national head of advisers, the company said Bondiman will play a key leadership role overseeing all wealth advisers at the firm and will be responsible for driving the organic growth of its existing adviser teams – fostering the recruitment and development of the next generation of advisers and ensuring a seamless transition for retiring advisers through a succession process.
Bondiman said of joining the VestGen team: “This group of leaders and advisers has built an incredible platform for growth, especially in the face of the demographic realities our industry faces. I’ve seen an incredible amount of change in our space over the more than two decades I’ve served in the wealth management space, and I’m excited to work with this team to execute on its vision for the future of our industry.”
Most recently, Bondiman served as the executive director, market director of wealth management with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management from 2023 to 2025. Before that, he served as vice president and branch leader at Fidelity Investments from 2021 to 2022, a position he held after his first stint with J.P. Morgan Chase Bank, where he held executive roles within the wealth management and private client divisions from 2015 to 2021. He also served as a wealth manager with TIAA. He started his career with Fidelity.
As the principal of VGIP, LaLonde is responsible for overseeing all facets of insurance integration within the firm’s financial planning process, including coordinating and closing insurance business opportunities, managing outsourced resources, and ensuring seamless operational execution.
LaLonde added, “Providing a comprehensive insurance offering will enable our advisers to better serve the expanding needs of our client base. Together with the entire leadership team, I look forward to developing a best-in-class platform for our advisers.”
LaLonde was previously managing director, insurance solutions with MVP Financial Services LLC from 2009 to 2025. He started his career with Waterstone Financial Group.
VestGen launched in December 2024 with 10 financial advisory practices that collectively manage $5.3 billion in assets. Earlier this year, the firm announced the expansion of its leadership and NextGen adviser teams that support its ambitious growth goals.
