Editor’s Correction: Regretfully, a previous version of this article misstated Ehud Gersten’s affiliation with Perch Wealth. The article has been corrected to reflect that he remains a managing partner and a 50% co-owner of the firm.

Concorde Investment Services has added licensed securities professional Ehud Gersten to its broker-dealer platform. Gersten specializes in tax-advantaged investment strategies for accredited and high-net-worth investors.

“We’re pleased to welcome Ehud Gersten to the Concorde platform,” said Danielle Delongchamp, president and chief executive officer of Concorde. “His diverse background in securities, law, and real estate reflects the kind of multidimensional expertise that drives value for investors and strengthens our adviser network.”

Gersten also serves as a managing partner and co-owner of Perch Wealth, a firm focused on 1031 exchange strategies. Earlier, he founded and led the San Diego-based Gersten Law Group. His insights have appeared in BloombergForbes, and other national media outlets. He is also a member of the Forbes Finance Council.

“I joined Concorde for its culture of integrity, commitment to compliance, and forward-looking approach,” said Gersten. “It’s a firm that’s continuously enhancing its technology and resources to better support advisers and their clients.”

Gersten earned a bachelor’s degree in political science, as well as a law degree from the University of Auckland in New Zealand, and a Master of Laws degree with a concentration in intellectual property from Boston University. He holds FINRA Series 3, 7, 63, and 66 licenses.

Concorde is a nationally recognized, full-service broker-dealer, registered investment adviser, and insurance firm committed to supporting financial professionals and their clients.

In other leadership news, the firm recently promoted Sydney Hockaday to managing director, marketing. In this expanded senior leadership role, Hockaday is responsible for shaping and implementing the firm’s integrated marketing strategy across its three primary divisions: broker-dealer, registered investment adviser, and insurance.
