ARCTRUST Breaks Ground on 55-Plus Concierge Community Near Houston

ARCTRUST Private Capital, the capital markets division of the ARCTRUST Group of Companies, has broken ground on the Project Edison 55 at Woodforest – a luxury, 165-unit, 55-plus concierge community located just 35 miles north of downtown Houston. The project is a joint venture with Edison Equity Residential LLC, a real estate company focused on managing, developing, acquiring, and constructing residential and active/senior living properties focused on sustainable growth and profitability.

The development is made possible by the Project Edison 55 at Woodforest LLC Regulation D private placement offering, which launched in April and raised $12.2 million in 90 days.

Located at 1555 Central Pine Street, the property is being built as part of the larger 5,500-unit Woodforest master planned community. Situated on 11.2 acres, it will consist of a four-story concierge community featuring 134 units in the main building and 31 cottages.

As a “concierge community,” Project Edison 55 at Woodforest will feature luxury amenities, community events, and social programs designed to attract residents who recognize the value of comfort, convenience, and community engagement. Expected amenities include a restaurant and bar, resort-style pool, spa with a full-service salon, fitness studio, and outdoor spaces with fire pits.

Construction is well underway, with the first villas scheduled for delivery in fall 2026, followed by the completion of the main building in early 2027. The general contractor is The Brownstone Companies LLC, a Houston-based general contractor.
