ARCTRUST Closes Joint Venture to Develop 55+ Concierge Community Near Houston

ARCTRUST Private Capital, the capital markets division of the ARCTRUST Group of Companies, announced the successful closing of a joint venture to develop a luxury, 165-residence, master planned community for residents aged 55 and older.
Located in Montgomery, Texas, Serenova Concierge Communities at Woodforest will be built from the ground up as a part of the larger 5,500-unit Woodforest master planned community, adjacent to The Woodlands and just 35 miles north of downtown Houston.
The development is made possible by the Project Edison 55 at Woodforest LLC Regulation D private placement offering, which raised $12.2 million from accredited investors. The fund is a joint venture with Edison Equity Residential LLC, a fully integrated real estate company with a core focus on managing, developing, acquiring, and constructing residential and active 55+ living properties for sustainable growth and profitability.
“We are confident that Serenova’s unique concierge communities model, combined with the proven expertise of the Edison Equity team, will deliver exceptional value to both its future members and our stakeholders,” said Christopher C. Wadelin, chief executive officer of ARCTRUST Private Capital. “We are deeply grateful to our capital partners and investors for the trust they continue to place in us. The fact that this investment has broken escrow in less than 90 days once again validates the attractive nature of our offerings.”
According to ARCTRUST, Serenova at Woodforest elevates age-restricted living and active adult experience beyond traditional independent living conventions. It will include 133 upscale one- and two-bedroom apartment homes and 32 private villas with attached garages. The community is designed to offer both comfort and social engagement, “all centered around a thoughtfully designed lifestyle called a concierge community.”
Concierge living includes personal assistance with reservations, travel arrangements, in-home needs, and social planning. Expected amenities include a restaurant and bar, pool, spa, fitness studio, and multi-purpose social spaces.
Construction is breaking ground this month, with the first residents expected to move in by November 2026. The project is being delivered by a team of respected Houston-area firms, including The Clerkley Watkins Group for architecture, Kathy Andrews Interiors for design, and The Brownstone Group for construction.
ARCTRUST Private Capital is an affiliate of the ARCTRUST Group of Companies, a vertically integrated real estate organization that over the past 40 years has been responsible for more than 500 transactions with an aggregate value in excess of $5 billion.
