Walton Global Names Jake Pierce SVP of Capital Markets for Western U.S.

Walton Global has appointed Jake Pierce as senior vice president of capital markets for the Western United States, the Scottsdale, Ariz.-based land investment firm said Monday. Pierce reports to Katie Hubbard, president of U.S. capital markets.
Pierce will lead business development and investor engagement across the West, working with financial intermediaries, institutional partners, and private investors to support capital formation in the region.
“Jake brings a strong foundation in capital markets and a relationship-driven approach that aligns well with our strategy,” Hubbard said. “As we continue to expand our U.S. platform, his experience and network will be instrumental in growing our investor base and delivering differentiated access to land-based investment opportunities.”
Pierce was most recently at PEG Companies, where he worked on global distribution and capital formation for institutional real estate offerings. Before that, he served as vice president of capital markets at RealSource Properties.
Earlier in his career, Pierce held positions at J.P. Morgan Chase and Altus Group, where he focused on private client advisory and real estate financial analysis.
Earlier this month, the company announced a series of residential land acquisitions through its Builder Land Finance platform, with seven of the transactions completed under the company’s Finished Lot Program. The properties are located in Texas, Florida, Georgia, and Arizona.
Walton’s U.S. capital markets team focuses on land-based investment strategies distributed through financial advisers, institutional channels, and high-net-worth investors. The firm has been building out its regional coverage over the past several years; in February, the company added Michael Richter and Brendan McLaughlin as senior vice presidents of capital markets, and Marcus Goodwin as SVP, real estate for the Mid-Atlantic.
