Walton Global Hires SVP of Capital Markets, EVP of National Accounts
Grace Garby & Jonathan Dease

Walton Global, a land asset management company and sponsor of private placement investments, has appointed Grace Garby as senior vice president of capital markets and Jonathan Dease as executive vice president of national accounts.

Garby is responsible for identifying and establishing relationships with financial advisers and broker-dealers throughout the Northeast region. She will educate advisers and their clients on Walton’s investment platform, support due diligence efforts, and drive capital raising initiatives in her territory.

Garby brings experience in business development and investor relations within commercial real estate with particular expertise in 1031 exchange strategies, private placement equity and debt offerings, and relationship-building with registered investment advisers, broker-dealers, family offices, and investment sales brokers.

Most recently, she served as a business development and investor relations associate at Time Equities Inc. in New York, where she sourced new investment capital, presented investment offerings at industry conferences, and managed adviser and investor relationships.

Garby earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics with a finance concentration from Lake Forest College and holds FINRA Series 22 and 63 licenses.

Dease joins Walton to lead the firm’s national accounts strategy, with responsibility for expanding selling agreements, strengthening broker-dealer and RIA relationships, and driving strategic growth across Walton’s distribution platform. He will work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, compliance, and executive leadership to enhance Walton’s presence within key distribution partners.

Dease brings more than 16 years of national accounts experience partnering with multi-tiered broker-dealers and RIAs. He most recently served as senior vice president of national accounts at Ashford Securities.

Dease previously held roles at Preferred Capital Securities, Provasi Capital Partners, Griffin Capital Securities, Grubb & Ellis and Pacific Life.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of California, Irvine, and holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.

“Grace and Jonathan each bring complementary strengths that enhance our capital markets team,” said Katie Hubbard, president of U.S. capital markets at Walton Global. “Grace’s strong background in capital sourcing within commercial real estate and Jonathan’s deep expertise in national accounts leadership and broker-dealer strategy will play an important role in advancing Walton’s growth initiatives. We are excited to welcome them to Walton.”

The hires follow Walton’s announcement last month of three senior leaders: Michael Richter and Brendan McLaughlin joined as SVPs of capital markets, and Marcus Goodwin was named senior vice president of real estate for the Mid-Atlantic.

Walton Global is a privately owned land asset management and real estate investment company with more than 89,000 acres under ownership, management and administration in the United States and Canada, totaling $4.54 billion.
