Savant Wealth Management Adds $6 Billion Exencial Wealth Advisors

Savant Wealth Management, a fee-only registered investment adviser, announced a landmark partnership with Oklahoma City-based Exencial Wealth Advisors. The deal represents Savant’s largest acquisition to date, integrating Exencial’s $6 billion in assets under management and significantly broadening Savant’s national footprint.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The acquisition brings Savant into several new markets, including Connecticut, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Ohio and Texas.
The deal surpasses Savant’s previous largest acquisition – a $3.9 billion deal with Westwood, Mass.-based Heritage Financial – which closed in late February 2026.
Founded in 2003 and led by John Burns, Exencial’s team-based model provides a wide array of integrated services, including investment management, financial planning, tax preparation, estate planning, and business consulting.
“Exencial has always focused on delivering integrated advice that helps clients make thoughtful, informed decisions,” said Burns. He noted that the partnership allows the firm to preserve its core approach while gaining access to Savant’s deeper resources and long-term stability.
Brent Brodeski, founder and chief executive officer of Savant, emphasized the cultural and operational synergy between the two organizations.
The entire Exencial team has joined Savant and will continue to operate from their existing offices. Select Exencial leaders, including Burns, have also joined Savant as member-owners, reinforcing Savant’s commitment to a majority employee-owned business model.
Separately, Savant also acquired Melville, N.Y.-based Heller Wealth Management, an RIA with approximately $550 million in assets under management, strengthening its presence in the New York metro area.
“These partnerships reflect our continued focus on aligning with firms that share our fiduciary mindset, culture, and long-term vision,” said Brodeski. “Exencial represents a milestone partnership for Savant, while Heller Wealth Management adds depth in an important market. Together, these firms strengthen our ability to deliver integrated wealth, tax, and planning services to clients nationwide.”
Savant Wealth Management is an independent, fee-only firm with approximately $50 billion in AUM and $1.9 billion in assets under advisement as of March 31, 2026.
