Madison Capital Group Promotes Kim Beamish to EVP of Investor Relations
Real estate investment and development firm Madison Capital Group has promoted Kim Beamish to executive vice president of investor relations.
“This promotion recognizes the leadership [Kim] has demonstrated and the important role she will continue to play as the firm expands,” said Ryan Hanks, chief executive officer of Madison Capital Group.
Beamish joined Madison Capital Group in 2021 as director of investor relations and founded the firm’s investor relations department. The company said she has grown the department into a seven-member team with offices in Charlotte, N.C., and Newport Beach, Calif. During that time, Madison Capital Group has expanded significantly, increasing assets under management from approximately $1.2 billion to $3.9 billion and growing its investor base to nearly 20,000 partners.
In her new role, Beamish will oversee investor communications, reporting and engagement across the firm’s investment programs, working closely with the executive team to provide investors with clear and timely information about the company’s strategy and portfolio.
“She understands that strong investor relationships are built on transparency, responsiveness and thoughtful communication. As we’ve continued to grow, Kim has been instrumental in building a more intentional and consistent experience for our investors,” said Hanks.
Madison Capital Group invests across multiple real estate sectors through its operating platforms, including multifamily housing through Madison Communities; self-storage and recreational vehicle storage through Go Store It; boat storage and marina services through Madison Marinas; and 1031 exchange investment opportunities through Madison Capital Markets.
Earlier this month, Madison Capital Markets launched the Car Wash & Convenience Opportunity Fund, LLC, targeting $200 million in capital commitments from accredited investors. The fund intends to use proceeds to invest in convenience store and express car wash assets, with a focus on no-income-tax states and markets showing positive population growth.
Beamish, a certified public accountant, began her career in Chicago with Ernst & Young, where she developed expertise working with institutional investors, CIOs, and registered investment advisers. She also spent more than 10 years at Walton Street Capital.
