Kestra’s Bluespring Acquires $450M Atlanta-Based Element Wealth Advisors

Bluespring Wealth Partners, a subsidiary of Kestra Holdings and an acquirer of independent and hybrid registered investment adviser firms, has acquired Element Wealth Advisors, an Atlanta-based financial planning and wealth management firm whose advisers oversee approximately $450 million in total assets.
Element, which is affiliated with Kestra Financial, was founded by managing partners Todd Mitman and Jeremy Reese. The firm provides financial planning, investment management, retirement planning, and tax-aware wealth strategies to individuals, families, retirees, and business owners.
The acquisition is Bluespring’s sixth of 2026. The Austin, Texas-based acquirer completed nine transactions in 2025 representing more than $6 billion in client assets. In May, Bluespring announced its acquisition of Synthesis Wealth Planning, a Kestra Financial-affiliated RIA based in Morristown, N.J., with approximately $1.1 billion in client assets.
Element will continue to operate under its existing name and leadership while gaining access to Bluespring’s operational, strategic, and technology resources.
“Our focus has always been on building meaningful relationships and delivering advice that puts our clients first,” Reese said. “Joining Bluespring allows us to grow thoughtfully while continuing to invest in our team and the client experience that defines us.”
Mitman said the firm weighed the partnership decision carefully. “Bluespring stood out because they know how to support growing firms without changing what makes them successful,” he said. “That balance of resources and autonomy is exactly what we were looking for.”
William Salmen, head of mergers and acquisitions for Bluespring Wealth, said Element’s leadership and client relationships made it an attractive addition. “The Element team has established a strong reputation through their client relationships and disciplined approach to their business,” Salmen said. “We are excited to support them as they continue expanding their capabilities and serving clients for years to come.”
Element will retain its local leadership team, which also includes financial advisers Charlie Hasel and Ann R. Dickerson.
Bluespring was established under Kestra Holdings to acquire and support independent wealth management firms, providing operational infrastructure, succession planning resources, and growth capital.
