Former UBS, Cetera, and Edward Jones Advisers Affiliate With $14 Billion Ameriprise Advisory

Ameriprise Financial Inc. (NYSE: AMP) recently added four financial advisers who collectively manage nearly $300 million in client assets. Approximately 1,700 advisers have joined the firm over the past five years.

The newest additions to the Ameriprise team chose to affiliate with Kuttin Wealth Management, a well-established group within Ameriprise’s independent channel, led by Jon Kuttin.

Financial adviser Kevin Kitt, who manages more than $110 million in client assets, joined the Westhampton Beach, N.Y., office from UBS Financial Services. Kitt cited the opportunity to align with a nationally recognized team and a firm focused on adviser growth, independence, and client experience as key factors in his decision to move.

“After meeting several advisers who had recently joined Kuttin Wealth Management and hearing how they rapidly scaled their businesses by leveraging the tremendous resources of both Ameriprise and the practice, it was a very easy decision,” said Kitt. “This move gives me the opportunity to scale my practice with excellent support while maintaining independence.”

“I’m thrilled to join a team and firm that shares my vision for growth and exceptional client experience,” said Kitt. “With the combined strength of Kuttin Wealth Management’s expertise and resources and Ameriprise’s advanced technology and support, I can elevate the experience I provide to my clients while expanding my reach and continuing to grow both personally and professionally.”

Additional Advisers Join Kuttin Team

In addition to Kitt, Kuttin Wealth Management has welcomed three more experienced advisers in recent months:

  • Wesley Wellsfrom Cetera Investment Services LLC in Dothan, Ala., with $93 million in client assets;
  • Rick Solt from Edward Jones in Colleyville, Texas, with $70 million in client assets; and
  • Carol Delong from Edward Jones in Denver, with $21 million in client assets.

“At Kuttin Wealth Management, we are committed to building a team of exceptional advisers who share our vision for delivering unparalleled client experiences. We’re excited to welcome these four highly experienced advisers, a testament to our continued growth,” said Kuttin. “As we continue to grow both organically and inorganically across the country, we remain dedicated to providing the resources, support, and collaborative culture that empower advisers to thrive and clients to achieve their goals.”

Kuttin Wealth Management is a private wealth advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Services, headquartered in Hauppauge, N.Y., with more than 200 financial advisers and support staff professionals. The team manages over $14 billion in client assets and is supported locally by Matthew Roesser, Ameriprise franchise field vice president; and Tom North, Ameriprise regional vice president.
