Capital Investment Services Joins LPL, Bringing $775 Million in Client Assets

Bobby Lumpkin, Cindy Little and Allina Bell of Capital Investment Services, a LaGrange, Ga.-based wealth management team with approximately $775 million in client assets, joined LPL Financial’s broker-dealer and registered investment adviser platform. The team was formerly affiliated with Raymond James.
Capital Investment Services serves entrepreneurs, business owners, and multigenerational households from its base roughly 60 miles southwest of Atlanta. The team, led by Lumpkin, includes relationship managers and client services associates across an eight-person practice.
“Our relationships are built on a relational connection and a commitment to doing what is in our clients’ best interests,” Lumpkin said. “We believe in being available, present and fully engaged.”
LPL said the team selected its platform following a due-diligence process, citing flexibility, technology and cultural fit. “LPL provided the best overall fit for our business,” Lumpkin said. “Their technologically sound platform supports the trading and planning capabilities we need.”
The Capital Investment Services team also includes: Kirstin Caraway and Sandra Gay, both relationship managers; and Alicia Hensley, Camren Russell, and Sam Yates, all client services associates.
Marc Cohen, LPL’s chief growth officer, said the team’s “deeply relational, client-first approach” aligns with LPL’s model for delivering personalized advice to clients.
LPL Financial (Nasdaq: LPLA) custodies approximately $2.3 trillion in brokerage and advisory assets and serves more than 32,000 financial advisers.
