Sightbridge Names Nicholas Brakovich Managing Director of Private Wealth
Nicholas Brakovich

Sightbridge Capital Partners LLC has hired Nicholas Brakovich, a two-decade veteran of alternative investment distribution and fintech, as managing director, private wealth.

Brakovich will help lead distribution strategy and wealth channel engagement for Sightbridge, including adviser and home office coverage and due diligence readiness, according to the company.

He joins Sightbridge from DataDasher, an artificial-intelligence workflow platform for investment sponsors and wholesaling teams, where he served as chief revenue officer. Earlier in his career, Brakovich joined PREP Securities’ external sales team as a regional vice president in 2020, AltsWire reported at the time, and held the same title, along with a national accounts manager role, at Stira Capital Markets Group.

Sightbridge founder and chief executive officer Jay Frank, who has known Brakovich for most of his 20 years in the distribution channel, said in a LinkedIn post that Brakovich understands both sides of getting a program to market. “He knows what it takes to get a program approved at the home office and what it takes to get it placed with advisers. Those are two different skills and not many people have both,” Frank said.

The hire comes more than three months after Sightbridge launched in June with an initial focus on Delaware statutory trust offerings for the U.S. private wealth channel, with qualified opportunity zone strategies planned for later development. Frank, who co-founded Cantor Fitzgerald’s asset management business in 2015 and grew its real asset programs to more than $8 billion in transaction volume, founded Sightbridge with partners Steve Rokoszewski and Kamil Poltorak. The three said at launch that they had more than 60 years of combined institutional experience and had worked on more than $50 billion in real estate transactions.

Poltorak said at launch that the firm “starts with the asset and the operator, then builds the structure from there.”
