Vital Capital Fully Subscribes $16M DST Backed by Central Texas Rehab Hospital

Vital Capital Partners, a healthcare real estate sponsor, has fully subscribed Vital Capital Medical – Temple TX DST, a Delaware statutory trust that raised approximately $16 million in equity from accredited investors through independent broker-dealer and registered investment adviser channels, the company said. The offering is backed by a build-to-suit inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Central Texas.

“Vital Capital Partners is highly committed to serving the alternative investments and Section 1031 exchange community by expanding access to institutional-quality healthcare real estate opportunities for broker-dealers, registered investment advisory firms, financial advisers and their accredited investor clients,” said Robert Lee, co-managing partner and co-founder. “We believe the pace of investor subscriptions to this offering reflects the positive interest we are seeing in essential medical DST offerings backed by national tenants in compelling segments of the healthcare real estate market.”

Located at 23621 SE H K Dodgen Loop, the six-acre property includes a 38,817-square-foot hospital with 36 inpatient rehabilitation beds.

“Vital Capital Medical – Temple TX DST is a prime example of the disciplined investment criteria we apply when evaluating healthcare real estate opportunities,” said co-founder and co-managing partner Thùy Turner. “Standalone inpatient rehabilitation facilities are playing an increasingly important role as healthcare delivery evolves toward specialized settings designed to improve patient outcomes and proactively manage costs.”

Vital Capital Partners launched the DST in March.

Vital Capital Partners began operations in 2024. The founders previously acquired and managed healthcare real estate through institutional platforms, according to the firm. The company said it plans to continue growing its healthcare real estate market share through both DST vehicles and fund structures.
