Wyoming Advisers Launch $600M Legacy Ridge With LPL Financial

Veteran financial advisers Frank Boley and Susie Garber-Johnson have launched Legacy Ridge Private Wealth, a new independent practice affiliated with LPL Financial’s supported independence model, LPL Strategic Wealth. The Sheridan, Wyo.-based team joined from D.A. Davidson and reported serving approximately $600 million in advisory, brokerage, and retirement plan assets.

Boley and Garber-Johnson, both sixth-generation Wyomingites with 50 years of combined experience, designed their firm to combine local heritage with high-level financial sophistication. The practice utilizes a proprietary framework, a “client-first” model that integrates portfolio management, tax strategy, and legal coordination.

“We bring together discovery, cashflow planning, tax strategy, legal coordination and multigenerational family meetings in one seamless, transparent process,” Boley said.

The team, which includes Olivia Koltiska, Brenna Zink, and Janelle Kemerling, chose to affiliate through LPL’s supported independence model, which is designed for advisers seeking entrepreneurial freedom without the operational burdens of running a standalone business.

The LPL Strategic Wealth model provides advisers with dedicated support from a business strategist, marketing partner, chief financial officer and administrative assistant, as well as access to integrated technology, simplified pricing and a single point of contact for complex business issues.

“LPL gives us the ability to deliver a transparent, seamless experience for clients with complex needs,” Boley added. “This partnership allows us to focus on what matters most: helping clients pursue their goals without the burden of managing multiple advisers.”

Scott Posner, LPL’s managing director of business development, welcomed the team, noting that LPL is “committed to delivering sophisticated resources, innovative capabilities and strategic business solutions designed to help advisers build value with clients and win in the markets they serve.”

LPL Financial Holdings Inc. (Nasdaq: LPLA) reported fourth quarter 2025 net income of $301 million, or $3.74 per share, a 4% increase from $271 million, or $3.59 per share, in the year-ago period. LPL ended the year with a record $2.4 trillion in total assets.
