SFA Partners Adds Wealth Management Team Trio With $200M in Total Client Assets
By Staff

SFA Partners, a family of financial service companies, announced the recent addition of three firms and $200 million in total client assets through Strategic Blueprint LLC, its registered investment adviser. The new firms include AdvicePoint and The Wealth Plan Company, both of Wilmington, N.C., along with Clarity Financial Advisors, based in the Seattle suburb of Bothell. All three firms come from Osaic.
“In a landscape dominated by large, private equity-fueled deals, Strategic Blueprint is succeeding by providing an alternative to the mass consolidation of RIAs into a handful of mega-firms,” said Jamie Mackay, president and chief operating officer at SFA Partners. “We’ve started the year strong by attracting practices searching for a partner with a strong culture, a long history of helping entrepreneurial advisors thrive, and a reputation for providing unmatched transparency to its partners. I’m hopeful this is just the first of a series of additions to Strategic Blueprint, which is laser-focused on providing advisers with a deeper sense of community, access to senior leadership, and the personalized service they deserve.”
AdvicePoint, founded by Matt Stephens, CFP, focuses on investments and tax planning for retirees. Stephens began his financial services career at Wells Fargo Advisors and became an independent adviser in 2013. Stephanie Carr serves as client service manager.
“The commonalities between our firm and Strategic Blueprint are hard to ignore, which is why I believe so strongly that this will be a good fit for my clients and me,” Stephens said.
The Wealth Plan Company was founded by Brandon Haines in 2007. With more than 20 years of financial services experience, Haines launched The Wealth Plan Company to have the freedom to build a practice focused on helping clients make informed and confident financial decisions. Other members of the team include Kathy Oswald as wealth adviser, Robert Wheeler as wealth adviser, Karen Walsh as director of operations, and Robin Barrington as director of communications.
Haines stated: “Aligning with SFA Partners doesn’t just feel like finding a back office; it feels like finding a true, caring partner.”
Clarity Financial Advisors is family-owned, specializing in supporting educators with advanced financial planning, retirement transition planning, and investment management services. Robb Hamm owns Clarity, while Bob Hamm is the founder. The team also includes Eric Stevens in the role of retirement specialist, while Mary Hamm serves as client success manager and Chelsea Coon serves as marketing specialist.
“The entire team is overjoyed to join SFA Partners as a dual registrant, able to leverage the services of both SFA and Strategic Blueprint,” Robb Hamm said. “We were looking for a home where we could more easily make clients feel valued and respected, and we have found it here.”
Founded in 2017, Strategic Blueprint has grown to over $2.8 billion with offices nationwide. As part of SFA Partners, Strategic Blueprint aims to assist advisers by outsourcing many of the rigorous compliance, technology, and operational burdens associated with running their own RIA. SFA Partners’ parent company, SFA Holdings Inc., is owned by advisers, employees, and individual investors.
