Sealy Investment Securities Adds Wholesaler to Oversee Midwest Region

Sealy Investment Securities LLC, the managing broker-dealer of Sealy & Company-sponsored investment offerings, has added Kurt Gunderson as senior regional vice president. In this role, Gunderson will oversee sales in the firm’s Midwest region.

Gunderson has more than 30 years of experience in capital markets, wealth management, and adviser development. Most recently serving as regional vice president for Megatel Capital Investment from 2022 to 2025, Gunderson has led multi-state sales efforts across the independent broker-dealer and RIA channels, focusing on private real estate and alternative investments.

A certified financial planner, he has held leadership roles at firms including S2K Financial, Ameriprise Financial, and Investment Centers of America.

Sealy has made a series of leadership hires in recent months.

Last December, it appointed Sean McEntegart as executive vice president of strategic accounts and in spring 2024, the firm added Kyle W. Castle to its wholesale team as senior regional vice president, overseeing sales in the firm’s West region – which includes California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Hawaii, and Alaska.
