Prudential Adds Pair of Advisers With Combined $300M in Client Assets

Prudential Advisors, the retail wealth management arm of Prudential Financial Inc. (NYSE: PRU), has recruited veteran financial advisers, Keith Loegering and Brian Montalbano. The move brings more than $300 million in combined client assets to the firm and signals a continued push to attract high-performing talent through its supported independence model.
The additions strengthen Prudential’s presence on both U.S. coasts:
- Loegering joins the Pacific Financial Group from RBC Wealth Management. He will be establishing a new office in San Rafael, Calif.
- Montalbano joins the Greater Florida Financial Group after a tenure with Synovus Securities. He is slated to open an office in Port Charlotte, Fla.
“Keith and Brian were both looking for the high level of service, support, and independent flexibility that defines our operating model and culture,” said Patrick Hynes, president of Prudential Advisors.
Both advisers bring decades of industry experience to their respective teams:
In the industry since 1996, Loegering previously built practices at Merrill Lynch and RBC Wealth Management. He cited Prudential’s enhanced technology and investment capabilities as primary drivers for the move. Brendan Snyder, managing director of Pacific Financial Group, praised Loegering’s alignment with the team’s client-focused culture.
With a career dating back to 1995, Montalbano made the transition to gain more freedom in client interactions while maintaining high service standards supported by the Prudential brand. Mark Sears, managing director of Greater Florida Financial Group, highlighted Montalbano’s “wealth of knowledge and experience in financial planning.”
Prudential Advisors supports a national network of over 3,000 financial advisers. Last December, AltsWire reported Prudential’s addition of Premier Planning Partners, a Mishawaka, Ind., practice with more than $550 million in client assets. An all-women team, Premier Planning Partners joined the firm from Raymond James Financial.
