President and COO to Retire From Cohen & Steers Income Opportunities REIT

Cohen & Steers Income Opportunities REIT Inc., a perpetual-life, non-listed real estate investment trust sponsored by investment management firm Cohen & Steers (NYSE:CNS), announced that Anthony M. Corriggio has provided notice of his decision to retire from his positions as president and chief operating officer of the company.
The retirement marks the conclusion of a career in the real estate industry spanning more than three decades.
Corriggio’s notice to retire was provided concurrently with his decision to retire as an employee and officer of Cohen & Steers Capital Management Inc., the external adviser to the Company.
To ensure a smooth and orderly transition of responsibilities, the REIT and Corriggio have mutually agreed upon Sept. 30, 2025, as his last day.
Further details regarding the transition plan and succession for Corriggio’s roles are expected to be announced in due course.
Corriggio had served as president and COO of the REIT since December 2022. He was previously appointed senior vice president and portfolio manager for Cohen & Steers’ Private Real Estate Group in March 2022. Prior to joining the firm in 2022, Corriggio was a managing director at Siguler Guff, serving as a senior member of the company’s distressed real estate investment team.
In December 2024, AltsWire reported that the REIT and Sterling Organization, a real estate investment firm, had jointly acquired Bridgepointe Shopping Center, an open-air community shopping center in San Mateo, Calif. The property was purchased for $127 million. In September, it purchased a shopping center in Georgia for $37 million, and, in January, it made its first acquisition – a shopping center in Dallas.
