Pravati Capital Partners With SEI to Broaden Adviser Access to Litigation Finance

Litigation financing firm Pravati Capital has announced a strategic partnership with SEI (Nasdaq: SEIC) to offer litigation finance as an alternative investment opportunity through SEI Access, an enhanced, end-to-end alternatives platform and product marketplace designed for registered investment advisers and wealth managers.
By joining the SEI Access marketplace, Pravati’s litigation finance strategies will be integrated into a platform designed for efficient evaluation, management, and exposure to alternative assets. This move aligns with Pravati’s goal to modernize access to legal funding, offering an asset class for diversification that typically remains uncorrelated to traditional market performance.
“This partnership strengthens our ability to bring litigation finance to the adviser community in a modern, frictionless way,” said Kris Kjolberg, managing director and head of capital strategy at Pravati Capital.
Litigation finance involves providing private capital to support meritorious legal claims in exchange for a portion of the eventual settlement or judgment. The sector is experiencing rapid growth; in 2025, the global litigation funding market was valued at over $20 billion and according to a January 2026 report by Research Nester, the market is expected to exceed $50 billion by 2036.
According to the company, it selected SEI Access due to its “institutional-grade technology,” which includes automated workflows and seamless data connectivity between fund managers and advisers. These features support more efficient onboarding and reporting, allowing managers to scale their operations while meeting adviser expectations for transparency.
Mathew Dellorso, managing director of sales for SEI Access, noted that the addition of Pravati Capital reflects SEI’s commitment to simplifying the alternative investment experience. “SEI Access provides alternative managers with an end-to-end platform that simplifies operations, enhances transparency and supports more efficient engagement with advisers.”
Financial advisers can now access Pravati Capital’s litigation finance strategies directly through the SEI Access platform.
“This collaboration reflects our commitment to improving the alternative investment experience while helping managers grow and meet the evolving expectations of investors,” added Dellorso.
The Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Pravati Capital delivers strategic capital solutions for attorneys and law firms, helps plaintiffs gain access to justice through financial support, and offers accredited investors an attractive asset class designed to perform independently of traditional markets.
SEI is a global provider of financial technology, operations, and asset management services within the financial services industry. As of Dec. 31, 2025, SEI managed, advised, or administered approximately $1.9 trillion in assets.
