InCommercial Promotes Industry Veteran Andrew Haleen to Chief Investment Officer

InCommercial Property Group, a Chicago-based investment real estate portfolio manager, announced the promotion of Andrew Haleen to chief investment officer. In his new role, Haleen will lead InCommercial’s overall investment strategy, portfolio oversight, and capital deployment across its retail-focused real estate and structured credit platforms.

“Andrew has played a key role in advancing our investment thesis, consistently helping to refine our strategy, identify and negotiate high-quality opportunities, and lead execution efforts across multiple fund cycles – all with a focus on delivering measurable value to our investors,” said InCommercial founder and CEO Erik Conrad. “His experience, analytical skills, and strong character make him the ideal person to guide our investment strategy as we enter the next phase of growth – specializing in gas station and convenience store assets through structures designed to meet investors’ goals for income, tax deferral, and growth.”

Haleen is an industry veteran with more than 20 years of financial industry experience. He has been a key member of InCommercial since 2016 and most recently served as acquisitions director. Before joining the firm, he held front-office roles at Goldman Sachs, Citi, BNP Paribas, and Merrill Lynch with a focus on institutional portfolio construction, capital allocation, and risk-managed investing.

“I’m excited to take on this new role at such a pivotal time for InCommercial and the industry,” said Haleen. “With policy tailwinds like the House GOP’s tax proposal – restoring 100% bonus depreciation – we are well-positioned to provide investors access to strategies with the potential to drive real returns and long-term impact. I look forward to guiding our investment approach as we continue to grow with purpose.”

Haleen also serves as an investment committee member for InCommercial, playing an active role in evaluating opportunities and ensuring alignment with the firm’s underwriting approach. He earned his MBA with honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, with concentrations in analytic finance and econometrics and statistics. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics from UCLA.

Haleen’s promotion follows the recent promotion of JoAnn Saguto to chief operating officer. In related company news, the firm also recently launched its fourth motor fuel fund, focused on gas stations and convenience stores and aiming to raise $75 million.
