Forum Investment Group Taps Multifamily Veteran as Head of Investments
Harry Alcock

Forum Investment Group has appointed Harry Alcock as managing partner, head of investments, a strategic leadership role responsible for shaping and executing the firm’s real estate acquisition, development, and asset management strategy. In this role, Alcock will lead real estate organization and design investment strategies and oversee capital deployment.

As a member of both Forum’s executive leadership team and real estate investment committee, Alcock will lead the expansion of the firm’s strategies to target high-growth sectors and emerging opportunities, strengthening its ability to navigate market dislocations, pursue strategic acquisitions, and manage risk for consistent performance.

“Harry’s leadership comes at a pivotal time as we navigate shifting market conditions and position Forum to capitalize on new investment opportunities,” said Darren Fisk, founder and chief executive officer of Forum.

Alcock brings more than 35 years of executive leadership in real estate investment and portfolio management, with a career spanning more than $40 billion in real estate transactions and oversight of more than $1 billion in credit deployment. Prior to joining Forum, he served for 14 years as chief investment officer at UDR Inc., an S&P 500 multifamily real estate investment trust with an enterprise value of more than $20 billion, where he led capital allocation strategies across a national portfolio of over 60,000 apartment homes.

“We’re thrilled to bring on someone with Harry’s experience and pedigree. We believe his deep experience in portfolio strategy and capital deployment will help us execute our growth plans and deliver strong, long-term value to our investors,” added Fisk.

Earlier in his career, Alcock spent over 15 years at AIMCO, where he played a central role in transforming the company from a $300 million portfolio into a behemoth multifamily owner and manager, with more than $15 billion in real estate assets. He was named executive vice president and CIO in 1999.

Alcock also serves on the executive committee of the National Multifamily Housing Council and is a member of the Urban Land Institute’s Multifamily Green Council.

“I am excited to join Forum at this transformative moment for the real estate industry,” said Alcock. “I look forward to working closely with the team to develop and execute investment strategies that capitalize on today’s market opportunities and position Forum for sustained growth in the years ahead.”
