Cottonwood Hires SVP of Capital Markets for Its Northwest Territory

CW Markets Group, a branch office of Orchard Securities – the capital markets division and wholesale distribution arm of Cottonwood Communities – has hired Cameron Lyner as senior vice president of capital markets to cover wholesaling efforts in its Northwest territory. 

Based out of Bozeman, Mont., Cameron has more than 17 years of experience in the financial services industry. For the past four years, she held various wholesaling positions across the United States at Gladstone Securities, supporting the firm’s strategic initiatives and day-to-day capital raising efforts for its alternative investment offerings.

Prior to that, Cameron held several sales, leadership, and advisory roles at Cetera Advisors from 2019 to 2021, Northstar Securities from 2011 to 2017, Voya Investment Management from 2010 to 2011, and Ameriprise Financial Services from 2008 to 2009. 

These experiences included serving as a financial adviser and focusing on both the wholesale and retail distribution of different alternative investment programs leveraging her financial adviser and client relationships.

Cameron received a bachelor’s degree in finance from Montana State University and holds FINRA Series 7, 24, and 66 licenses.
