Cantor Fitzgerald Income Trust Announces Change in Financial Leadership
Danny H. Salinas

Cantor Fitzgerald Income Trust Inc., a publicly registered non-traded real estate investment trust formerly known as Rodin Global Property, announced a leadership transition with the immediate resignation of Paul M. Pion, chief financial officer and treasurer. In a statement, the company confirmed that Pion also resigned from the firm’s board of directors, effective Sept. 2, 2025.

The company stated that the resignation was not the result of any disagreement over its operations or policies.

Following Pion’s departure, the board of directors appointed Danny H. Salinas to serve as a director, chief financial officer, and treasurer for both the company and its adviser, Cantor Fitzgerald Income Advisors LLC.

Salinas, age 44, joined Cantor Fitzgerald L.P. in September 2023 as a senior managing director and chief financial officer, overseeing the firm’s financial operations, including accounting, regulatory reporting, and risk management.

Before joining Cantor Fitzgerald, Salinas held several executive roles at TD Bank Group for more than a decade, including serving as chief financial officer at TD Securities from 2018 to 2023. He also worked as a tax attorney at Simpson, Thacher & Bartlett, where he advised on corporate transactions, and began his career as a certified public accountant at Deloitte & Touche.

Salinas holds a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Rutgers University.

Pion’s departure from the REIT is just another in a series of executive changes within Cantor Fitzgerald companies in 2025. Most notably, Howard W. Lutnick was confirmed by the U.S. Senate as the 41st Secretary of Commerce in March. With that appointment he stepped down from both chairman of the board and chief executive officer of Cantor Fitzgerald Income Trust Inc., and chairman and CEO of trust sponsor Cantor Fitzgerald L.P. Lutnick led Cantor Fitzgerald L.P. for four decades.

More recently, Sept. 1 marked Jay Frank’s last day as president, chief operating officer, and head of distribution for Cantor Fitzgerald Asset Management. During Frank’s decade-long tenure, he was instrumental in expanding Cantor Fitzgerald’s offerings in alternative investments, including platforms for private infrastructure, qualified opportunity zones, and UPREITs.

In a LinkedIn post, Frank expressed thanks to his former colleagues and pride for a “business we built brick by brick, growing from zero to $16 billion in assets under management, launching more than 60 private market strategies, and pioneering several industry firsts, including the first ’40 Act private infrastructure fund.”

In other REIT news, the company declared August 2025 distributions of $0.1316 for each class of its common stock and Class I and Class T operating partnership units, as rounded to the nearest four decimal place: $1.55 on an annual basis. The net distributions were payable to stockholders of record as of Aug. 31, 2025, and were paid around Sept. 4 or reinvested in the REIT’s common stock for those participating in the distribution reinvestment plan, or DRIP.

The REIT reported total assets of $1.16 billion as of June 30, 2025, a 4.1% increase year-over-year from June 2024’s $1.11 billion.
