Bonaventure Expands Capital Markets Team With Trio of Hires

Bonaventure, a vertically integrated multifamily real estate investment firm with $2.6 billion in assets under management, announced several new additions to its capital markets team, including Midquel “Mick” McClendon as senior vice president of capital markets for the Eastern United States, Kerry Peoples as senior vice president of capital markets for the Western United States, and Ryan Conoboy as vice president of capital markets for the Western United States.

Based in Tampa, Fla., Mick McClendon has over 20 years of experience in alternative investments. He has previously held leadership roles with Wells Real Estate Funds, Inland Securities, and CIM Group. His expertise covers 1031 and 721 exchanges, real estate investment trusts, interval funds, private placements, opportunity zone funds, and co-investments. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia, and holds his FINRA Series 7, 24, 63, and 66 licenses.

Based in Southern California, Kerry Peoples has over 25 years of financial services experience, including nearly a decade at Sealy & Company, where he significantly expanded the firm’s AUM from $750 million to $4 billion through strategic capital raising, as reported by Bonaventure. Kerry specializes in the registered investment adviser channel and is dedicated to delivering Bonaventure’s solutions to West Coast investors. He earned bachelor’s degrees from the University of San Diego and holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses.

Ryan Conoboy joins Bonaventure with over a decade of experience in financial services. Most recently, he served as an external wholesaler for Inland Securities Corporation. His broad expertise spans the RIA and broker-dealer channels, offering solutions like 1031 exchanges, 721 exchanges, qualified opportunity zones, private and public REITs, and value-add funds. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois, Chicago, and holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 63, and 66 licenses.

These new members follow closely on the recent addition of David Pittman as head of Bonaventure’s capital markets team, as previously reported by AltsWire.

The firm also recently launched a $34.1 million Delaware statutory trust in a Washington, D.C. suburb.
