Arkadios Capital Names Christopher D. Camp Chief Financial Officer

Arkadios Capital has named Christopher D. Camp chief financial officer, adding a senior finance executive with nearly two decades of experience across financial services and professional services firms to its leadership team.
Camp most recently served as chief financial officer of Miles Mediation and Arbitration, where he led a period of expansion that included multiple acquisitions and revenue growth. Earlier in his career, he held senior finance roles at Triad Advisers, US Orthopedic Partners, Biota Pharmaceuticals, and Teavana.
His background includes mergers and acquisitions, operational integrations, and building finance infrastructure at organizations ranging from early-stage companies to publicly traded multinationals, the firm said.
“Chris is the kind of leader we want helping guide the next chapter of Arkadios,” said David Millican, founder and chief executive officer of Arkadios Capital. “He brings exceptional operational and financial expertise, but just as importantly, he understands the value of culture, independence and relationships. We have intentionally assembled a leadership team made up of experienced executives who are deeply committed to serving advisers the right way — with integrity, responsiveness and a true partnership mindset.”
Camp said Arkadios’s culture and commitment to independence distinguished it from other organizations he considered.
“I had opportunities to join a number of organizations, but Arkadios was different because of the leadership team and the culture they have built,” Camp said. “The people here take tremendous pride in their work, they care deeply about advisers and they are committed to preserving a white-glove service model that has become increasingly rare in this industry.”
Atlanta-based Arkadios Capital is a hybrid independent broker-dealer with nearly $20 billion in affiliated assets, more than 300 advisers, and 100 offices across the United States and Puerto Rico. Earlier this month, Arkadios launched its private wealth platform and appointed Michael Childs, formerly of Truist, to lead and scale the venture. He brings more than three decades of experience across corporate leadership, branch management and adviser recruiting, with senior roles at Truist from 2021 to 2026, as well as Morgan Stanley and Raymond James.
