Anthropic Partners With Blackstone, Hellman & Friedman, Goldman Sachs on AI Enterprise Services Firm

Anthropic has partnered with Blackstone, Hellman & Friedman, and Goldman Sachs to launch a new AI-native enterprise services firm dedicated to bringing Claude into the core business operations of mid-size companies.
The new standalone entity will have Anthropic engineering and partnership resources embedded directly within its team, a structure the firms said is designed to keep client deployments aligned with Claude’s development. The company is also backed by a broader consortium including General Atlantic, Leonard Green, Apollo Global Management, GIC and Sequoia Capital, which the firms said gives the new entity access to hundreds of portfolio companies as a built-in customer base.
The firms said enterprise demand for Claude is outpacing existing delivery capacity, and that building and maintaining frontier AI systems requires expertise most organizations do not have in-house.
“This is a rare convergence: massive market need, the unmatched AI technical capability of Anthropic, and a consortium of investors with the reach to scale fast,” said Patrick Healy, chief executive officer of Hellman & Friedman.
Jon Gray, Blackstone president and chief operating officer, said the firm addresses a key bottleneck in enterprise AI adoption. “We believe it can help break down one of the most significant bottlenecks to enterprise AI adoption by expanding the number of highly skilled implementation partners,” he said.
Marc Nachmann, Goldman Sachs’ global head of asset and wealth management, said the firm will give mid-market companies access to forward-deployed engineering talent that has typically been reserved for the largest enterprises.
Target industries include healthcare, manufacturing, financial services, retail, real estate, and infrastructure. Krishna Rao, Anthropic’s chief financial officer, said the company’s partnerships with systems integrators remain central to how Claude reaches large enterprises, and described the new entity as additive to those channels rather than a replacement.
This week, AltsWire reported that iCapital is also partnering with Anthropic to embed Claude AI models across its alternative investment platform, with initial deployments aimed at adviser-facing workflows, client enablement tools, and product provider engagement.
