Apollo, Blackstone, KKR Among Nearly 40 Managers Adding Strategies on CAIS

CAIS, an alternative investment platform for independent financial advisers, said nearly 40 new and existing asset managers have introduced strategies on its platform over the past six months, expanding adviser access to alternatives across hedge funds, infrastructure, real estate, and other categories.

The additions come as financial advisers continue refining allocations across asset classes, liquidity profiles, and investment objectives, the company said. CAIS said flows into exchange funds, hedge funds, infrastructure, real estate, and tax-advantaged strategies increased in the first quarter of the year, which the company characterized as evidence of a broader shift toward portfolio diversification and income-oriented strategies.

“Adviser needs continue to evolve, and we’re committed to building a marketplace that evolves with them,” said Brad Walker, co-president of CAIS. “By thoughtfully expanding access to leading managers and strategies, paired with robust education and technology that removes operational friction, we’re allowing advisers to construct portfolios that reflect today’s market environment and their clients’ long-term objectives.”

Managers that have introduced strategies on the platform include 26North, 503 Capital Partners, Adams Street Partners, AllianceBernstein, Apollo, Ardian, AQR, Blackstone, Blue Owl Capital, Campbell & Company, Carlyle, Coatue, Cohen & Steers, Eldridge, EQT Partners, Fortress Investment Group, Forum Investment Group, Global Endowment Management, GoldenTree Asset Management, Goldman Sachs Asset Management, Hamilton Lane, Harbor Group International, HarbourVest Partners, Hines, KKR, Kayne Anderson, Lord Abbett, Millennium Management, Monroe Capital, Morgan Stanley Investment Management, New Mountain Capital, PennantPark, Pomona Capital, Quantum Capital Group, REX Shares, T. Rowe Price/Oak Hill Advisors, Third Point, Veritas Capital, and Vista Equity Partners, among others, according to CAIS.

“Our disciplined approach to manager selection on the platform seeks to ensure that advisers can access strategies that complement diversified portfolios while delivering the experience they expect from CAIS,” Walker added.

More than 600 alternative investment strategies are available on the CAIS platform, each undergoing third-party due diligence by Mercer, according to the company.

The manager additions extend a pattern of platform growth AltsWire has tracked for two years: CAIS added nearly 20 new and expanded manager partnerships in 2024, including Apollo, Ares Management, Bain Capital, Blue Owl, and KKR. The announcement also follows CAIS’ July 2026 partnership with BetaNXT to extend the platform into broker-dealer networks.

CAIS said its alternative investment platform serves more than 2,500 wealth management firms supporting more than 65,000 financial advisers who oversee approximately $8.5 trillion in end-client assets. Founded in 2009, CAIS is headquartered in New York City with offices in Austin, Texas; London; and Red Bank, N.J.
