Waveland Capital Partners Appoints Financial Services Vet as President

Waveland Capital Partners LLC, a subsidiary of Waveland Capital Group LLC, has appointed Adam Dooley as president. In this role, the firm said that Dooley will oversee Waveland’s capital formation platform, lead the firm’s continued expansion in the private wealth management sector, and strengthen its institutional investment partnerships.

Dooley brings over two decades of leadership experience in global financial services to Waveland. He is the founder, chairman, and chief executive officer of Belay International Corporation, a private equity firm that has supported technology-enabled growth companies through strategic and operational expertise since 2020.

In his previous roles, Dooley held executive leadership positions at MetLife, The Hartford and Crossroads Capital Group, where he managed multiple joint ventures with global investment management partners.

Dooley holds a Master of Business Administration from IMD University and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Southern California.

He serves as executive chairman of Everest Consolidator, a publicly traded acquisition vehicle, and is the author of The Pre-IPO Playbook.

Waveland Energy Partners LLC and its affiliates have sponsored more than 40 energy-related investments since 2000. With experience in drilling, land acquisition, and private equity investing in the energy sector, Waveland has developed and refined an income and growth investment strategy. The company invests in the Bakken, a sedimentary rock formation in North Dakota that contains billions of barrels of oil and natural gas and is one of the largest oil fields in the United States.
