Four Advisers Earn Ownership Stakes Through Perigon’s Path to Partnership Program

Independent wealth management firm Perigon Wealth Management LLC announced that four advisers have completed its Path to Partnership Program, a multi-week program designed to grant certain 1099 advisers the opportunity to have an ownership stake in the firm.
“The Path to Partnership Program was launched to identify passionate and dedicated Perigon advisers who embodied the culture and spirit of the firm and allow them to earn an ownership stake in Perigon over time,” said Arthur Ambarik, chief executive officer of Perigon.
The four advisers include Mary Ballin, a wealth adviser who opened Perigon’s East Bay office, who has more than 20 years of industry experience and holds both a certified financial planner, or CFP, designation and a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst designation. According to her investment adviser representative disclosure page, Ballin began her career at Charles Schwab and spent 15 years at Mosaic Financial Partners, plus one year at Private Ocean, before joining Perigon in 2020.
Beth Bosworth, a wealth adviser who also oversees Perigon’s financial planning endeavors and is the head of wealth planning, also completed the program. Bosworth holds a CFP designation and has more than 15 years of wealth management experience. According to her public disclosure page, Bosworth’s career as an adviser includes stints with Resource Planning Group and Lakeview Capital Partners before joining Perigon in 2021.
Additionally, Eric Jardine, a wealth adviser and operations manager who brings more than 20 years of investment and technology experience to his role, fulfilled the program. Jardine manages portfolios and has implemented reporting, planning, and customer relationship management, or CRM, systems to inform advisers of strategic decisions to support their growth. Jardine joined Perigon in 2018. Jardine began his career at BakerAvenue Wealth Management, where he was employed for nine years before moving to Lakeview Capital for one year, according to IAPD.
Finally, Doug Wheat is a wealth adviser who joined the firm in 2024. Wheat has more than 15 years of wealth management experience including experience with impact investing. IAPD reports that Wheat spent nine years at Goldman Sachs prior to his current role.
Near the end of 2024, Perigon expanded its leadership with the addition of two new team members, including new general counsel and new director of organic growth.
Perigon is an adviser-led firm that has added teams and offices across six major markets since December 2021 and has approximately $8.7 billion in client assets as of Dec. 31, 2024. In January, the firm welcomed Constellation Wealth Capital as a strategic investor.
