CAIA Partners With Toigo Foundation to Accelerate Diversity in Alts Industry

The Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association, or CAIA Association, announced a strategic partnership with the Toigo Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering diversity in finance and access to talent.

“We have long been admirers of the Toigo Foundation and the important work they’ve been doing over the past 30-plus years to help organizations build more inclusive workplaces and leadership teams,” said John Bowman, president of the CAIA Association – the global professional body for the alternative investments industry.

“By providing current Toigo fellows and Toigo alumni with access to the full range of our educational offerings, we aim to help Toigo in its mission to empower an ever-growing range of professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in their respective careers,” added Bowman.

This innovative collaboration is designed to offer 2,000+ Toigo fellows and alumni three key opportunities: education in alternative investments, extensive networking, and unparalleled industry exposure.

“This partnership with CAIA is a significant step forward in our mission to foster the career advancement of highly talented women and men in finance,” said Nancy Sims, president and chief executive officer of the Toigo Foundation. “Through CAIA’s comprehensive educational resources, our fellows and alumni will gain valuable insights and expertise, enabling them to continue to lead with impact in the investment industry.”

The partnership provides recipients with access to programs, specifically the CAIA Charter and the Fundamentals of Alternative Investments Certificate, or FAI. According to CAIA, this ensures participants receive relevant training in alternative investments to set them apart in a competitive job market.

With CAIA’s more than 13,000 members worldwide, the program will place emphasis on networking and connecting with peers, industry professionals, and potential mentors through curated activities and exclusive events held throughout 35 global CAIA Chapters. Lastly, the partnership will offer recipients opportunities to learn about alternative investments from industry leaders, gaining insights into the latest trends, challenges, and innovations in finance.
